This Friday through Sunday, IV will be partnering with the Student Anti-Genocide Coalition (STAND) Conference here at UNC. The conference is headed by students all across the country that unite for one very important purpose: a shared goal to end genocide.  STAND still needs several volunteers for the weekend, including registration, babysitting, decorating, and being guides around the Union for all the people coming from other places. If you're interested, please contact Cristina Chenlo ( ccristin AT email DOT unc DOT edu).

Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 23 at 1 pm!  IV's social justice team will be caring for a local blind women with three young children by deep-cleaning her home and working on her lawn.  Email Jenny Hinkle if you are interested or would like more information (jahinkle AT email DOT unc DOT edu.)

REAL SEX   BOOK DISCUSSION

Thursdays at 5:30 pm, Jennifer Hagin will be leading a book discussion on Real Sex: The Naked Truth About Chastity (Lauren Winner) in Lenoir, room 110.  Bring dinner, the book, and your friends!  If you still need the book, you can order your copy cheap off of half.com.  Jennifer likes the book because the author is blunt about challenging the lies the culture as well as the church tell us about sex.  If you have any questions, email jennifer_hagin AT hotmail DOT com for more information.
