undergraduate FellowshipHey, thanks for checking us out! We've got a lot planned for this first few weeks of classes, so please be sure to check out the our detailed list of Upcoming Events!
What is InterVarsity?InterVarsity at UNC is a non-denominational Christian community welcoming
people of all backgrounds and faith traditions to explore what it means to follow Jesus. It's a place where Christians can grow and
non-Christians can come and say or ask anything you want! How can i get involved?Small Groups Small Groups are what we call our weekly Bible studies, which are really the heart of our InterVarsity community. It’s here that students wrestle with the challenging teachings of Jesus, pray together, and get to know each other on a deeper level. We offer student-led men's, women's, and co-ed Small Groups meeting in dorms and in on- and off-campus apartments, with special options for first-years and international students. Most Small Groups discuss a book of the Bible, but our Life Groups focus around a particular topic. See a full listing of small group options. Large Group Large Group is our all-chapter weekly meeting, to which everyone on campus is invited. We hope you'll join us as we worship, pray, and hear from speakers, exploring together how the Good News Jesus brings might revolutionize our lives, communities, and world. After Large Group we frequently sponsor activities, ranging from just-for-fun game nights to chats about deeper issues over coffee, allowing us to better connect as a larger community. Our next several large groups will be held at 7 pm in Hanes Art 121. Get more info on this week's large group. Retreats and Conferences Throughout the year, InterVarsity offers many weekend retreats and conferences, often in conjunction with InterVarsity chapters at other universities in the area. These opportunities range from special opportunities like the one-day regional Black Student Conference to our week-long, multi-track Rockbridge conference for everyone in May. All are a great chance to escape the chaos of campus to experience God and community in new ways! Coming up next is the Emmaus Retreat in Myrtle Beach. Get more information on upcoming retreats and conferences. Be Yourself Reach out to and love on those around you!
