David Shepley
Bio
InterVarsity's full-time campus minister to fraternity and sorority students at the University of North
Carolina-Chapel Hill, Dave is entering his fourth year with Greek IMPACT. He is a 2001 graduate of Indiana
University and was a member of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. Dave worked for over a year for an advertising agency
in public relations and new business before heeding the call to minister to fraternity and sorority students
on a college campus that had a great Greek scene but was lacking in spiritual direction. Carolina fit the
bill perfectly and Dave and his wife Kimberly moved to Chapel Hill in December 2002 to pioneer a new
ministry to the Greek system.
Ironically Carolina was the only other undergraduate school Dave seriously considered in 1996, having being
converted to Carolina-ism by Indianapolis product Eric Montross in the early 90's - although he still maintains
that his allegiance to the Cream & Crimson reigns
supreme.
Dave & Kimberly live on the 'other' side of I40 in a quaint apartment. Kimberly works for an up-and-coming
medical software company, MercuryMD, and travels to clients
across the country on a regular basis. When they are home together the Shepley's enjoy golfing, playing poker and
hanging out with their 6 best friends. When in town, they attend the Chapel Hill Bible Church.
